Who this policy covers

Subrief operates this website. This policy describes how we handle information from visitors to our public website and people who contact us or request a walkthrough. For information about data handled within a customer’s Subrief workspace, contact us about the arrangements that apply to that service.

Information you provide

When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, message, and any company details you choose to provide. Walkthrough requests also include your organization and any optional team size or topics you share. Please avoid including confidential, sensitive, or third-party personal information in an inquiry unless it is needed to explain your request.

Website and browser information

Our hosting services process technical information needed to serve and protect the website, which can include IP addresses, request details, and error records. The inquiry endpoint uses IP addresses to limit repeated submissions. Your browser stores your light or dark appearance preference locally. If you access account features, authentication cookies are also used to support sign-in.

How we use your information

We use inquiry details to respond, arrange walkthroughs, understand your requirements, and continue the conversation you initiated. Technical information helps us operate the website and protect the forms from abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers and external content

The website is hosted using Vercel. Form submissions are sent to our team through Resend and handled in our email systems. These providers process information to deliver those services. Editorial photographs load from Unsplash, which receives the request information your browser sends when loading an image. Links to other websites are governed by those websites’ own privacy practices.

Processing locations

Our service providers may process or store information outside the country where you live, including outside Australia. The locations depend on the provider and service involved. Contact us if you need details about the processing arrangements relevant to your inquiry before sharing personal information.

Inquiry records and security

Submitting a form sends an email to our team. Copies of your request and our replies may remain in email systems and associated service records after the conversation ends. We use measures such as input validation and submission rate limits to protect the website, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Contact us to request deletion of an inquiry; some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or address security issues.

Access, correction, and complaints

You can contact Subrief to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you provided, or to raise a privacy concern. Explain which information or interaction your request concerns. We may need to verify your identity before acting. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the privacy regulator relevant to your circumstances; in Australia, this is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or its information-handling practices change. The date above identifies the current version. Contact us if you have questions about a change.
